On my STi I had the stock Potenza RE070s, KDW2s and currently Potenza RE-01Rs. I like all three of those way more than the RFTs.
I'd really like to try the Direzza Sport Z1 or if I were to go a little less intense the ContiSportContact 3. |

That's what I'm planning on replacing my RFT with. How do they compare? And did you stick with the 215F, 245R setup?

In 19's there are way less choices. My research has definitely convinced me to upgrade to the Hankook V12's next week. My current tires really suck so I'm sure these will be incredibly better.

I went with 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 Continental Extreme Contact DWs, saved about 3lbs a corner compared to OEM runflats and they grip well and are very quiet and the car rides smoother now. Also were half the price than the runflats and they won Eurotuner's tire challenge, just to throw that in there.

I already did. That's why I was asking your opinion. Thanks though.

Pirelli pzero. 225/255. I changed my tires at 4000km. Several reasons:
1. Hated the harsh ride of rft 2. Was able to part exchange 3. I had just had an ecu reflash and needed more traction. Incredible difference. Smoother more comfortable ride, better cornering and huge improvemnet in traction. I was getting major wheelspin with the stock rft in 1st 2nd and 3rd gears! |
