I'm unhappy with the new version of the Continental DWS 06
My fronts are the older version and I just replaced the rears with the new version and I hate the look of it. The sidewalls are round and the tread pattern towards the outside is ugly. Ugh I hope they wear out soon.

I put a set of the DWS 06's on in January, and I think they're awesome tires. The big improvement over the old DWS's is the addition of a sidewall insert to improve feel (i.e., less squish).

So dws06 is worse than original dws? (Other than its tread pattern)

Why use all seasons. Get 2 sets of wheels. 1 for summer tires, one for winter. Your call on snow specific.

Another advantage of running all seasons is that I get to reserve my 200TW summer tires for competition, instead of wasting tread on street driving, where I'm nowhere near the limit.

Just a few weeks. When I change lanes on the freeway there's a lot of flex in the rear. My main concern though is how ugly they are. I don't like the rounded sidewall. I didn't get A/S for all out performance but they should perform better than the replacement. I live in PNW too so I don't need dedicated winter and summer tires for the mild winters and the barely summers.
