Well, it does say that the speed limiter is raised to 150mph with the Sport Package, which comes with the same tires as the non-Sport car, so there has to be some reason why the speed limiter gets raised...

Garage List
I am shocked at how sloppy these BMW brochures are.

I'm assuming the weight is correct for the automatic and the 3732 was supposed to be 3372 (would make sense if you compare the 335 manual weight versus automatic).

Even if you take the automatic weight figure on this brochure, that's 187 lb difference compared to the manual 335! But since the manual weight is likely 3372, it looks like the weight difference will be 201 lbs. Nice.

Also, I find it embarrassingly interesting that BMW NA would release a brochure with a KM speedo only on it :iono:

Or maybe thats because it will go 280mph!?

Has the weight of the 128i as 3252 and the 135i as 3732. 500lbs for a turbo set up and sports package?

Ditto... that looks nothing like the Coral Red that is available for the 3 series, nor what was in the brochure

Not even close to the same color on my screen, as is the coral red in the brochure and bmwusa.com for the 3 series.

The BMW brochure department is very low quality, even when I was checking out the 335i they had numerous obvious spelling errors 5 months AFTER the car was already out.

Also the lack of Terra or saddle leather is really going to be a killing point for me. I'm unlikely to buy the car without it (ideally it would be Saddle and not Terra).

The disclaimer on the front page of the brochure notes that the colors shown may not appear on screen and print out accurately. Could this be the discrepancy in colors?

Why not buy black leatherette and get the leather done custom on the aftermarket? Lack of one color leather seems like a silly reason not to buy a car.

Terra and Terracotta are now not listed! I pray there are priority one leather choices a the ordering inception, but I'm certainly not hopeful.

They should have us QA these documents before they have them printed or distribute!

The only thing I hate worse than not being able to get the option I want is to get an authorized document stating it will be an option then having it taken away. Why the @#$ can't they give us a decent brown leather? I mean what is so fricken bad about giving people what they want?

Sorry, I guess I'm just tired of all the stupid mistakes. I start to wonder if BMW has some perverse dept that releases stuff early to the public just to see what the outcry will be.

This will be my forth BMW and I've never seen as much misinformation coming out of BMW as with this model. It makes me sort of hate them and that sucks...

BMW offers sorry-ass leather options across their entire line. I think all anyone really wants (at least all I really want) is a rich, dark brown leather.

Dear BMW: Go buy an Audi S8 with an "Espresso Brown" leather interior. Copy that, and put that color in the 1er.

This is the color we want:

That means only three options. Here's hoping for under $37k!
Good choices... exactly what I want (minus Sirius). I'm really hoping for 36k!!!
