At how many km or miles did you install the SSTT on your car
Ok i got my SSTT today. Now i'm not sure if I should install it just yet. I only have 1422km on my car and plus winter is coming soon. I assumed the install would be like the 335i but no you have to do way more work. I really haven't push my car to the max yet because its still in break in mode. I will have nothing to compare. So the question is should I install it and test it out or wait till spring when my car is done its proper break in?

If you already bought it, why wait until after break-in? That just has to do with rpm's. With the SSTT on, follow the same guidelines as you would've otherwise.
And it really isn't that much work. Once the airbox is removed it is simple.

I installed mine with about 400miles on the car with no probs. And the work isnt really that difficult...takes a little bit of muscle though to get the darn airbox off of its mounts is all....

make sure you give it about 100miles to completely adjust before you really, really notice it.

Yah that is right. That is why i decided to wait till spring and also I tired installing it today and FAILED. I everything was easy until I had to take the rubber wire holders off the intake box. It was so difficult because there is barely any room for my hands to fit and pull the rubber pieces of shit off. That was about the last thing i had to do to take out the intake box. I figured that it was too much of a hassle do it twice since i was just putting it on to test it out and would be removing it in about a week. It is cold here 3 degrees here(37 f) and its going to snow soon. I was kind of dissappointed in myself. So i search for a DIY video and sure enough i found one. The BMS intake install that shows you how to remove the intake box. Didn't know you can remove the plastic covers at the bottom of the windshield. That was a relief and it should make things so much easier.

Yeah those rubber thingamajigs are the exact things I was talking about when I said you have to 'muscle' it off. They can be a pain in the derrier and even worse when it is cold outside and you are trying to do it. And it is your decision but it really wont make a bit of difference if you install it now or in the spring.
