HELP! SOS Light car wont start after replacing head unit

Hi Guys!

I really hope someone can help me. I had a bad head unit in my 135 vert so I bought a new oem one from ECS and changed it today. After installing the new unit I attempted to start the car and it won't crank and I get the SOS light. The radio did work correctly however.

I have the car attached to a bmw trickle charger, not sure if that is going to help. The SOS light from my research is for "emergency system request"

I'm seeing that a BMW center will need to be contacted from my research. I hope not.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated!

The battery was still connected so I'm going to check all the fuses, I don't hear the fuel pump prime and it doesn't even try to crank.
