I legit hate white cars. I owned a white truck for 6 years and hated it every time I looked at it. I don't like white cars when I see them on the road. Sincerely, yours is the only white car I can remember that looks good to me. I think it's the black accents especially the hood (I know it's CF but black basically). An all-white car is too much, just a sea of white. But every time I see your new sig photo I am impressed. I know this is 100% subjective but if it were me, I would keep some form of accents on the front of the car even if you wrap the majority of the hood and would definitely leave the trunk the way it is now. Looks very balanced.

Thanks man! Best thing about wrap is everything can be easily undone haha. Now that I know how to do it, I'll probably mess with themes fairly often.

Absolutely gorgeous and well done sir. Such a beauty. I'm not sure if there was a different thread but do you have a write up or video's for those of us aspiring to try this?

Thank you for the compliments! This is the most detail I have on the project: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1515076

It was my first time wrapping and everything I learned came from CK Wraps on youtube, the guy has 100's of incredibly detailed videos.

If you don't mind my asking...around how much were the materials to do this?

And, as I've said many times, it looks awesome!

This roll of wrap is about $450 on metrorestyling.com, all the tools were like $35 in total, not including the heat gun which I had already and is about $35 as well

What's the life span for the wrapping material? Like maintenance wise how long are you supposed to leave the wrap on before should be removed? or does it have a limit? Is it possible to leave it on too long where the original paint could get damaged when removing the wrap? sorry random questions but I was always curious with these wraps. I really want to try this myself to maybe preserve my AW paint and experiment with a different color at the same time.

I'm curious as well if the vinyl wrap has a life span, or if there are any negative affects to the paint. It's made to go on paint, right? So I wouldn't think there would be any damage.

Lifespan depends on the product used, the installation, how it's cared for, and the paint itself.

A good quality vinyl can last 5+ years when installed correctly and cared for. If left out in the hot sun frequently 5 years is pretty much the cap, though ceramic coatings are changing the game with this too.

There should never be damage to the paint unless the installation is done incorrectly (extra adhesives used, not good enough prep, installer cuts through vinyl and into paint with razor, etc.).

The only time the wrap itself may damage your paint is if the car was repainted or touched up recently. There's been quite a few instances I've seen online where people wanted to preserve their brand new paint job and had the car wrapped within a week of the car being painted. Automotive paint needs at least a month to reach full hardness.

I'm planning on keeping this wrap on for 3ish years unless I get bored of it or sell the car.
