Yes, that's a fair question, but the rule for all purchase is now and ever shall be: caveat emptor.
Impulse buyers spending upwards of $30,000 sometimes end up getting screwed. But blame for that, I think, should not exclusively be placed on the seller..... @BrokenVert - so what was your decision? Are you sticking with the 1er, or going for a replacement? |

Ive been tied up with midterms and other exams for the past few weeks here. My father is taking care of it, but he knows what I want.
Not sure about the current status tho. |

Good luck with it. Enjoy the car while you can because I will be sad to see it go. |

Finally found out why BMW NA said that my car didnt qualify for a trade in.
My Service Depot failed to file the paperwork on my car into BMW NA for the month of April. This was the month that I was having my top issues and the car was off the road from April 8-May 3. Wiskey Tango Foxtrot |

Months have passed since our hero last....
I think OP flunked out of school and now works at the dealership that sold him this car. He spends much of his break time looking for the lost "paper work".
Just kidding.

Nothing has really happened up until this point. All of my current issues are resolved, my dealer has finally fixed them all, so the car is running better than it was the day I picked it up.
Although the manager of my service department still thinks that i deserve something for all of the crap that I have put up with. So were still working on it. Unfortunatly life and my family's current financial instibility have gotten in the way. We may have to sell the car anyway, I would hate that, but I would much rather stay in college, get a decent education and buy another nice car down the road. Its kinda funny, my dad and I bought the car because I got an awesome scholarship to uni, now that scholarship is the only thing keeping me in at this point. |

That sucks. But looking back at how much I would have liked ANY car when I was going through university working with a scholarship, and I have trouble finding too much sympathy...
