What would you buy after your 1er.

What would you buy if you sold or had to the money to purchase another vehicle?

No clue, looking at everything. M2, C7, Cayman S, Carrera S, GT350, Focus RS, Civic Type R, MX-5... The list goes on and on. There are just so many potentially great cars on the horizon.

Picked up an e92 m3 w/ a 4.6L v8 to join the 1er.

The only new car coming out that excites me is the cayman gt4 but it is rumored to be super limited and with the timing not right I will miss it.

I am hopeful for the m2 but probably won't get one.

Just got rid of my 2012 135i lease last month and picked up.....

...another 2012 135!

If I were to get something in the near future other than a 135, I would look hardest at the M2, then the Alfa 4c, GT350, and (yes, even) the Focus RS, depending when it comes around.

Been shopping around everywhere for one as my next car. Mind sharing the year/options/price?

When I decided it was time to part ways with my E36 (after sixteen years), I thought about looking around but ultimately decided I wanted to remain in the BMW community (this is a part of who I am). And so I bought my CPO E82. It's the only car BMW makes that I would even look at. Not sure what I'd do next, but I'm hoping I have a few years before having to deal with that (the brand has almost entirely lost me, this funny-looking little beast is all that's left and I don't foresee anything on the horizon).

E9x m3's are selling between $35-60k depending on miles, years and options. My car is a 2011 I purchased with 23k miles. It has a stroker motor in it so it was a bit more expensive than the standard 4.0L cars.

If I were to buy another I would look for a 2011 e90 w/ slicktop, speed cloth and 6mt.

I am 25 so who knows when I will get married and start a family. That future aside I would purchase a Gallardo with 6MT. I would like to fit in a Cayman S or a 996 Carrera S but after driving a Lambo, you just can't buy another car until you own one.

There are some nice cars out there. The M4, Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, GTR, Audi TT RS, Cayman GT4, possibly the new M2 (can't believe I said that), and the list could go on and on. To be honest, I'm perfectly happy with my 1er. It's a great all around car. Just the right size, enough power, great looks, very fun to drive. Will probably keep it till the day I die, unless I, or somebody else totals it. If that should ever happen, I'd probably just buy another one.

honestly there's nothing i'd rather have over the 1M at the moment. The only car that hits the spot is the Cayman GT4 and that simply will not work due to my need for a backseat and upcoming baby transport!

I will probably buy a 2nd 'softer' family car in the next 1-2 years it will probably be a euro wagon....something like a used E9X 328 Touring, Saab 9-3 Sportcombi...or maybe even a Volvo V60.....or mayyyyybe even a new Golf TDI 5-door....we'll see!

After your thousands of posts about how it's wrong not to drive your car and there's no point of getting a daily, that "2nd softer car" better be used full time by someone other than yourself lmao!!

I'm holding out hope for Jaguar to release a manual transmission and RWD with the F-type R coupe. It's on the F-type S finally. Figure it won't be impossible for 2017.

If they do, I dunno what I'll do. I love the F-type. Lots of better cars but that one is resonating with me about as much as the 1er does.

I won't be selling the 1er though. Gonna drive this thing into the damn ground.
