Oh and I would also like an M shifter in that sport package as somebody else mentioned. I am not a fan of aluminum shifters, especially in the summer. That sizzling sounds isn't bacon, it's my hand on the aluminum shifter. I changed to an M shifter on my current car though, so I am sure they'll be available through some source. Another thing that would make me more glad to pay for the sport package would be alcantar inserts on the seats.

agree 100%, actually i have a tracker for the deep stuff and will keep my fwd cobalt with all seasons as a second dd, the 135 will never see the snow. my e92 335 does have a dedicated winter package. i still may want the 17 inchers for resistance to road hazards, durability, etc.

I am blown away by the fact that the oil cooler is not standard on this car when it is being billed as "the purest form of BMW" and yet the N54 has MAJOR heat control issues without the cooler. Sport package or not, they should expect that enyone who purchases a 135i is going to drive it like an ENTHUSIAST.

I feel bad for the fatties that dont' want the sport seats but still want to occasionally romp on the car. Hopefully they can retrofit the oil cooler with dealer parts or find a suitable place for an aftermarket Mocal setup or something.

Interesting about the Headlight washers. I usually try to only briefly hit the windshield washer switch at night so they do not come on in my MINI, but I understood that in the US, you were required to have a washer if you have HID lights.

Question: Is bluetooth available as a separate option or ONLY as part of the premium package with BMW Assist? Is it included with iDrive? Thanks in advance...

Don't the Sport Seats have the adjustable side bolsters? If so, shouldn't be too much of a problem for us fat Americans.

Sure, but how does that apply to this discussion?

BMW Assist is not currently offered as a stand-alone option. Only available with the Prm Pkg.

Garage List
I had sport seats in my 2000 M Roadster (they came standard) and I couldn't be in the car for more than a couple of hours. Never again!

I really want the M-Wheel, but I am not going to sacrifice comfort to get one.

I'm even thinking about ditching the iDrive.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with BMW Assist. Do you need to have "BMW Assist" in order to have Bluetooth capabilty?

Simplying stating a comment that was made regarding the new entry level BMW.

Within the luxury market buyers have come to expect power seats as standard eq., not optional. The E90 328i offers power seats as a option, but on the E90 335i power seats are standard.

Gotcha, but the comment now has me confused. I inferred from your original info that, since power seats are included in the premium package, MANUAL seats would be standard. Is this not correct?

I *WANT* manual seats. Are they available?

As does $400 for the USB port.

Assuming that the iPod integration allows full view and control of songs, playlists, tracks etc on the iDrive screen, I'd pay the $400.

$700 for Bluetooth though - notsomuch. I'll just use a Bluetooth headset.

OK good. I'm not really interested in any of the Premium Package items, except for Bluetooth, as I presume the sports package seats will have decent lumbar support anyway.
