Same experience here with the X1...took my 135 in to have my software upgraded and the bay years cable replaced. Took 3 days for the work so I got a loaner - the X1. No power and the shut-off feature was very annoying. Was one happy camper when I got my 135 back!

New turbos and they gave me a 2014 X1. Got in and immediately felt an overwhelming ignorance rush over me as I glared at the shifter. Almost called the dealership back after it kept dying at stop lights. But, then I realized the beauty in driving a drug dealing, soccer mom, eight speed, planet saving ultimate....something machine.

I dont get loaners anymore since my BMW warranty expired. Bastards! Well, at least there is always an excuse.
