Eibach Pro-kit springs & alignment. Car actually rides smoother than before. Highway bumps are the only thing more pronounced. Looks awesome. Time for some wheels!

I have the save observation with the eibach pro Street coilovers after 200 miles of mostly highway and a good bit of Michigan crappy street city driving . The car rides more comfortably than with 60000 mile old stock suspension. It is proof that a well matched set of harder springs and shocks doesn't destroy the ride quality.

Oh yeah super happy with them, glad I didn't spend the money on the koni shocks. I'm in Rochester Michigan, where are you?

Pulled off my modified stock diffuser and decided to carbon wrap it today.

Used the 5D gloss finish. Turned out ok for my first time wrapping anything.

I will ceramic coat it too for extra protection and shine.

How much of a pain was removing it? The gray kind of drives me nuts. I want to have it painted black or wrapped.

Stock chargepipe went BOOM over the weekend, swapped it out with a VRSF one. Such a terrible design by BMW, knowing full well it's a common and pre-mature failure point they still haven't addressed it and keep pumping out plugged up failure-prone N54 CPs on all N55s...

Also installed F series style pedals. One of the cheapest and nicest mods for modern BMWs imo.

I love the Koni Sports with Eibach springs on my E88! Just need to decrease the rebound damping a hair at the rear. I do wonder if the orange ones might be a perfect match with 'em on a coupe'. After the obligatory ditching of the runflats, of course.

Got the airbag, blower motor harness, and flex disc all replaced under recall today.

And I've been scratching my head ever since I bought the car as to why the glovebox USB doesn't seem to work when I tried updating the maps. I painstakingly popped the port out from behind the glovebox and replaced it, only to see no improvement.... So I figured the last place left to suspect is the CIC's connections.

Low and behold... small wonder why people do not trust dealership technicians. At some point my 135i's CIC must have been pulled and the dumbass tech did not even reconnect the cable behind it.

So much BS annoyance caused by someone's stupid mistake. Ugh. At least it's all working now.

Removing it is easy. 5 minute job.
6 X 8mm bolts at the bottom. Clips on the top.

Speaking of trunk lid, I am looking at picking up a duckbill trunk from an E82 to modifying it to fit haha other than that, the doors would be the only panel that hasn't been touched

Euro mirrors!

Stock ones were delaminating (?). They had a brown haze forming, so I replaced them. Wayyy different than US mirrors. This'll take some adjusting-to, but they show so much more of your surroundings.

My passenger heated, self dimming, mirror is fogging. Quite annoying, and over $200 used.

Looks similar to the LCI mirrors like on my 2011. I like them actually.

I got this plain ol' heated pair of used lenses for $85 shipped. Advantages of having the basest of base models, I guess...

These ones are both the same magnification unlike US mirrors are. No "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" engraving either. I love that I don't hardly have any blind spots anymore. Not that these cars were difficult to see out of anyways...

Paint matched Performance trunk lip spoiler is on! Debating gloss black kidney grills, and that should wrap up the cosmetic touches. I'd like to drop it on Eibach springs, hopefully a used set pops up soon. I already have a set of new in box Koni shocks ready to go
