There is hope for the UN brand. One of the high executives just bought Ulysse Nardin AND Girard Perregaux (of the Laureato fame).
Most analyst say that this is a good thing for the revival of both of these Swiss brands.

Did someone say Laureato? I'm a big fan :-)

It can't be any worse. Kerring Group was very bad for Ulysse Nardin. The early 2000s were such glory years - Freak, Sonata, Caliber 160, etc. They need to forget about X dials and sharks flying through space and get back to the ingenuity that makes them special.
