1 Series with e46 M3 Wheels
I just installed some e46 M3 wheels on my 135i. They are four front wheels, so all four of the wheels are 18x8 offset 47 (front and rear) . The M3 rear wheels are too low of an offset to fit without some work. I'm running Michelin PSS, 225/40 front and 245/35 in the rear. No rubbing on stock sport suspension.
I'm pretty happy with them. What do you guys think? Last edited by Fakemike; 04-01-2019 at 06:36 AM.. Reason: To clarify that I was running 4 front wheels |

I like it. Has a nice almost retro (Way back the E46 M3) feel to it.....
Why not square? What did you have to do to run the rears?

Looks good. That's exactly the setup I've been considering. I even posted about it a while back. A guy I work with has an e46 m3 Coupé and I'm surprised how similar our cars are in some ways.
Do you think you could fit 255/35 18 in the rear?

Thanks guys! I appreciate the comments.
I moved the tires I had from the stock 264 wheels. The rears fit with no problem, they are a half inch smaller then the stock wheels with a similar offset. Quote:

I've always hated those wheels. They're just not a nice design, in my opinion. They certainly look better on the E82 than they do on the E46 though.
Is your car Carbon Black? |

Hey looking at putting these wheels on my 128i the tire sizes are 225/45 ZR18 and the other 2 are 255/40 ZR18 will these fit on my car no problem or will spacers or something like that have to be used?

if you're using the same 18x8 offset 47 then use front 225/40r18 and rear 245/35 or 255/35r18. worry for the rebound from bumps if the suspension is aged.

they are the staggered set up so 18x8 in the front and 18x9 in the rear i believe.
So I shouldn't get this set? kinda want it steerable as i drive it to work as my daily |

I'm not positive on spacer needs if it was my car I'd be more comfortable no spacer 18x8.5 et45 on the rear unless flared quarters. |

Look great and that offset is perfect for 1 Series. Only issue I have w/BMW wheels is weight.
