Need a good cheap tire
I'm installing some used 313's on my 08 135i. I've gone through 2 sets of 4s' and they were amazing tires. I'm looking for a good cheap tire. I don't track, and it's an FBO vehicle running E85. I'd like to spend $175 for the fronts and $200 for the rears. I live in South Florida too.

Just put a set of Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s. On. Get them from St. Lucie Battery & Tire for around $500 installed.

These are surprisingly good, mostly a rebadged RE-11A from Bridgestone. Wet performance is solid, turn-in is quick and they wear well. Have 15K and several autocrosses on a C4 Vette. My favorite summer tire. The Federals are like death in rain, not my favorite.

If you can find them it doesn't get much cheaper than the Achilles ATR Sport 2. Even though their super cheap especially if you can find them on sale, I have heard good things about Achilles.
Another cheap tire I can't find a lot of reviews on is the Syron Race 1 Plus. Only $80 for a 225/35R19. Supposedly a lot of people in Germany and the UK run Syron but that's just what someone told me. Federal's are good but run wide and I heard their on the harder side as opposed to soft Falcons for example. You might want to spend a bit more on tires or wait for them to go on sale and get a set of Sumitomo, Hankook, Toyo etc. |

I really liked my set of Kuhmo PS91's that I ran on the stock wheels but the rear sizes are impossible to find for some reason.
Edit: 245/35-18's are back in stock at Tire Rack. |
