Buikding from my last thread about the move from berra to brissy, ill be due for a service not long after i arrive. Will be the first service since getting the car, will be a 60k service. Idrive isnt reporting any major consumables that need replacing at current, just oil and an inspection. Im looking for reccomedations on a good indy mechanic, Ill be living in Morningside |

You could also look into Accelerate Automotive at Coopers Plains. I've heard good things about them.

Last I heard at 60k you needed to replace the sports exhaust... Well that's what I told the minister... My next service requires a "replaced" FMiC on the 15th...

Turbos most definately require replacement at 65 000km too. Oh and BMW no longer make the standard twins, only a larger 'more efficient' version...

Hey guys just about update picked up the car from prestige and performance a couple days ago.
Very happy with the customer service the guys were happy to have a chat with me afterwards as well which was a pleasant suprise. I can't seem to post pics through the app but I will upload a pic with items used during the service tonight. |

Yes they are very good, highly recommended on the 13th March prestige and performance are putting in new suspension arriving from Birds Auto in England.
Finally getting rid of m-sport suspension.

Anyone know any decent brake specialists in Brisbane? Already know of the recommended workshops, just wanted to know of any dedicated brake shops.

For those using Prestige and Performance or Accelerate Automotive, how do you find their knowledge of 135i's and tuned cars? There seems to be a wealth of knowledge down south for JB4, ProCede etc via Advan and SouthernBM. Has anybody had one of the Brisbane workshops install/dyno a JB4 car?

Good to know. Thanks Benny.
Going next door to 999 Automotive's dyno to check AFR's are safe for the map would be handy too.
