Can't register 2010 vehicle in BMW USA.com

That was my guess as well. I don't know how the rumor got started about a ship being at the port was started but a ship leaves every 3-4 days. I would imagine it takes that long just to load the ship. They carry like 3,000 cars!

how'd you find out when the ships are leaving? I am waiting to get on a west coast boat!

There is a constant flow of cars from Bremerhaven - just check out the link of the port I posted a few posts back. You don't really find out when ships leave but you'll find out what ship your car is on through the 1-800 number and you should be able to track progress from then on. Just such a shame that the west coast ships don't arrive until November...

Did you get your ship assigned yet? the 800 # just says it is in the port awaiting transport at this point. Knowing my luck...it will be November!! By the way..whats up with the no tray cover in the front?! I hope you can get one installed at BMW...gotta talk to the dealer about that

I tried my vin on the East Coast shipping company's website, but it's not coming up with anything.

I've emailed my CA to see if he can tell me the ship name.
