So do you think the cut will take care of all the rubbing?

Keep us posted after you do it too...

Well, for some people, rubbing means they don't fit. I happen to be one of those people.

Plus, I further qualified my statement. So there.

You guys realise that these wheels are not available and are made to order? 90 days with 50% deposit is what I am told. Unless you know a place that has them (I want the 18x9.5 et25).

I was talking to the guys that own this car on the weekend: http://studie.jp/03whatsnew/stst/033/033_12.html - It had CSLs on when I saw it though so I can't comment on what the Advans look like in person.

They said that the RS is quite popular for 135s in Japan because they're light and very cheap here compared to imported wheels.

They also confirmed that you'll need to dial in some camber to avoid rubbing.

I didn't know they are made to order, I've seen them for sale on a couple of websites, but I've never talked to anyone about actually ordering them. I don't mind waiting or putting down a deposit, I think these wheels are my top choice. Lightweight, very good looking, and a decent price.

I have 19x9.5 with 45 offset with 245's and they rub. The tires are stretched Hankooks. I would not reccomend this setup to most people.

You can also look at the Advan Kreutzer Xi. They are very similar to the RS, but come in better offsets for the 1 series. I talked to Vivid Racing a while ago about ordering them, and they do take 60-90 days to ship from Japan.

The big difference with a 30 series tire is that the rolling radius is the same as stock. This should reduce the risk of rubbing allows the speedo reading to remain standard.

I have the same offset in the rear and I have 255's and it doesnt rub at all.

YH ADVAN RS 18 inches. Silver front, rear is a unique combination of the A050 around the bright chrome of the F235, R265 size.....

It's the best looking wheel I've seen on a 135i yet. I'm not usually a fan of wheels with this many spokes, but they just fit this car for some reason.

If I weren't expecting to get laid off from work in the next couple of months, I'd try to have a set of these made with custom offsets to improve the fitment. I just haven't seen another wheel that I like as much.

What do people think about putting 18x8 ET 48 Kreutzer Xi's all round on the 135i?

I believe he is running Toyo T1-R's. Toyo's seem to run slightyly more narrow than others in the same size. I have Toyo R1R's waiting for spring to mount, I chose them for the reason above...

I was thinking the same thing as that's the only size/offset you can run on those wheels on our car, and they look SICK
