Wow. I'm at like 32k, I thought that was low. What service appts at 2500 miles total? At some point you harm a car not using it at all.

There are still a lot of low mile automatics around. I bet 6MT swaps are going to be more and more common.

They lowered it to $19k. 2 owners because the person purchased it to sell it. New tires and battery. I actually posted that in my 1st post asking what 1Addicts thought of it.

too bad it is an automatic I really wanted a white 128i but only found a black one with a manual, I would have bought it just to swap all my mods to it lol

I got my 2013 white automatic 128i for around 14k with 42,000 miles on it and it was a scary buy. The owner had just let it sit in their driveway for 2 years. I had to vacuum all the spiders out from underneath before replacing every fluid. Mine also had the OFHG leak that I had to work. I'm replacing the thermostat and water heater during the next oil change. 2500 miles seems odd...

Never understood the appeal of low mileage, other than the novelty, or possibly its historic value in the future if people are looking to restore a car and need a "time capsule" to reference for originality. Ironically for a vehicle, after a point in time its value lies in not being driven, if it was never driven much in the first place.

I'm actively trying to rack up as many miles as possible. To me, these are great daily drivers that make good hobby cars as well; at the price point many are at, they're a great value if the formula (small, good-looking, good handling, 2-door coupe, user-serviceable, and - unlike the subject car - must be a 3-pedal, IMO) is what you're looking for.
