UR25IO, more pics please! Those wheels are sooooooo nice. I also think your car is only the 2nd 1-series I have ever seen them on as well. And just to confirm, you said no rubbing on the front, but none on the rear either right? And it's a 18x10 I assume on the rear, not 18x8 as originally mentioned. Thanks!

they are 18x9 in the rear. If you look at enkei's website the sizing is really limited for what they have for the 5x120 bolt pattern and what offsets would work (really high in the rear)

sorry its was a typo. Rear are 18x9 ET50. I dont believe 18x10 will fit.

I cant stress enough you have to run stretch tyres and coilovers, getting lowered spring will not help, rear guards fenders are also rolled.

Now im running 10mm spacers on the rear with PSS 245/45/18 tyres.

mean while check this out

Wow, thanks for posting... it checks all the criteria:

1. Clean
2. Simple.
3. Elegant

It's just a top-notch execution... don't change a thing I love the mono-chromatic finish of the overall product, yet with enough contrasting shade and textures that make you look at more than just what's on the surface.

BEAUTIFUL.

No. it won't fit. Definitely not with ET50, and otherwise not very realistic for street use. For a track setup with more than 3.0 degree negative camber, it could be possible, but will have issues.

Very interested in the possibility of running 18 x 9" RS05RR or GTC01RR +50 all round as my circuit wheels. Neg camber drilled in only for track days at the front on an M140i.

Do you think 245 40 18 would work on the front with 3 deg neg camber and 265 35 18 on the back?

Would guards need to be rolled?

you will have no chance fitting 18x9 front with 245s.

The tyre will destroy your guards.

The front 18x8.5 et35- i have about 2-3mm clearance from my wheels to the struts.
Had to stretch my 225/40/18 to make it clear.

Would 245 40 18 on 18 X 8.5" +35 fronts work with guard roll and 3 deg neg camber though?
+40 works with 245's but I don't want to run spacers if I can help it.

Since you've got lots of experience here..do you think a set of 18x9 ET45 wrapped in 235/40/18 will work for the front?

Worried about clearance to the strut and would ideally like to run the car with no spacer (or at worst...a 5 mm)

thx!

Yes will fit with 225/40 front tyre, and 235/40 rear tyre.

the tire fitment on the 135i is very tight, so its not very tolerant of varying offsets and tyre sizes. Ideally you would want ET45~52 Rear offset and ET40~45 Front offset. That will allow you to fit a bit more tyre width.

Glad this thread popped up. I was looking at 18x8.5+30 and 18x9.5+35 and thinking I'd run 215/40 and 235/40. Guess I'll have to run a little camber and roll fenders
