Well, you can forget all that. The new car is fitted with a turbocharged straight six. Turbocharging? In an M car? That’s like putting gravy on an ice cream.

I agree! And OT but I saw the hotel in your sig. It's a great spot. I haven't stayed there but it has a nice bar and lounge area.

Passion? or Addiction? Girl asked if I care more about her or the forum and got kicked before I can answer.

Nikki, Thanks! The lounge is great and the rooms are nothing to complain about either. Stop in sometime.

I'd like to see the selected individuals be offered the option to a high place in line to buy one.

Sorry I wont be attending , unfortunately I will be overseas at that time.
Anyway my time with the 1M is finished, everything via promotional and media is almost complete prior to launch.

So Good luck to anyone who gets going.

I am moving to the new M5 and the 1er (F20) and some MINI and Rolls-Royce products which will be happening within the next six or so months.
The 6er is the next all new product but look out for an update on the "Dontblogaboutthis" site in just over a week.

I expect my 1M to be with me in the spring of next year.

I had an incredibly vivid dream last night that I won this. Dead serious... My dream was from the perspective of an automobile reviewer like Jeremy Clarkson or Tiff Needel, but there was a BMW rep in the passenger seat (could've been Dr. Kay, Albert Biermann, or even SCOTT!), but I can't remember. They asked me questions about the feel of the 1M as I ripped around a winding track, all while being video recorded. It was like they wanted my expert opinion on the car as I was drifiting around corners, alone on the track. It sounds a little blah as I type this out now, but I woke up with a very euphoric feeling and couldn't get back to sleep. My mind was racing this morning.

A dream is likely as close as I'll get to this opportunity, statistically speaking, but it was a hell of a ride! Just thought I'd share with my fellow 1Addicts...

How about one last unofficial leak before you go.

Maybe some details on the interior?

Appreciate your input over the past several months. It's has been and continues to be very exciting.

Thanks for the updates, SCOTT26!

I have analyzed every ounce of information available on the 1 M Coupe since it was just speculation. Being one of the first to drive one would be a dream come true!

In any case, great little event for BMW to stage and I can't wait to get all the details from whichever Bimmerpost member is lucky enough to go!
