'09 128 SPK vs 135

Just curious........
On a 09 128 sport pkg, would that be the same suspension as the 135 minus the 18in wheels? Did they offer M-sport upgrade on a 09 128? My 09 has sport & premium, paddle shift & sport mode but 17in wheels. Also I think it has the std bumpers and side sills?
Just wondering that if I upgraded to 18in then the chassis would be basically the same as the 135 minus the power and bodywork. That would be fine for my DD without digging into upgrades

As a sport pack you already have the msport rear sway bar.
18" wheels are the only difference and the brakes. 128i guy here prefer 17's though, and also think the breaks are sufficient.
