Front Camber

Quick question...

Can camber be adjusted in the front on 100% factory suspension?

You can adjust it somewhat to maybe -1 degree for the fronts. The rear are more flexible. Adjusting the front significantly requires removing the camber pin on the top hats for the front.

It's extremely easy...it takes about 5 minutes total once you get the pins out

And taking these pins out will not harm anything correct?

with the alignment pin knocked out, you will be lucky to get -.5* I'd say get adjustable camber plates or even Dinan plates (which I have)

It will be pretty close to -1*

Do you have M3 control arms? Those would bump you slightly above -1*

-1* with stock suspension and pins pulled? You guys can't be serious. I was barely over -1* with the pins pulled AND performance suspension!

So with Performance suspension, M3 control arms and Dinan plates I could expect something similar?

Your suspension would have no bearing on camber.

Pretty sure lowering the car increases camber, although the drop with PS is pretty slight and wouldn't induce much negative camber. Maybe that's what you mean?

With PS, pulled pins, M3 Bits, and Dinan Plates, I am at -2.3* I believe.

235's fit comfortable with only the mild PS drop btw.

Okay... before this gets out of hand

Pulled pin: -1*
Pulled pin and M3 control arms: -1.5*
Coilovers, camber plates, lowered, M3 control arms: -3*

I have KW V2 coilovers, Vorshlag camber plates, HPA endlinks, M3 control arms, M3 sway bars

With stock suspension and pins pulled, the most I could get was -0.6 deg in the front.

Yesterday I had Dinan camber plates, M3 tension rods and M3 wishbones installed, and was able to max out at -1.8 deg in the front.

I believe M3 arms are widely accepted as giving about -.75* camber. Bogart, your numbers for the pin only are higher (more negative that is) than a home else I've seen here. Your numbers with pin and control arms looks about as expected.

In my opinion...starting from only a few tents negative while purely stock, this is about what I got with each mod:

Pulled pin = .3*
Performance Suspension: .5*
M3 arms = .7*
Dinan Camber Plates: .7*

In terms of best order to install, I'd recommend M3 arms before camber plates because the arms get you the same camber but also stiffer bushings.
