Do not buy from schemiedmann it's a pia with customs and all that
I bought through kerscher directly and had to import it privately myself, the day I went to SF intl airport to pick up the package, it took me 4-5 hours running around getting paper worked signed and paying duties, it was a HUGE pita!

Not sure if because it's a bumper that makes it more difficult, but I purchased LCI Blacklines from them and it was a piece of cake. A simple form I filled out and nominal payment to FedEx (after the delivery) and I was done. Probably 5 minutes max and maybe $15 additional to cover the customs fees. They also had incredibly quick shipping considering where it was coming from.

So where could I buy this shipped to my house? Schmiedmann also said they ship to my air port but like where would I pick it up? FedEx inside air port?

So did i but the bumper is totally different. DMACC already mentioned the issue and there's a company that will source these bumpers.

You would first need to go to the shipping company that is importing the bumper, have them sign a few papers and they will give them to you to bring to the customs office usually located at the same airport. After some paperwork at the custom's office and a small fee, you then return to the shipping company with the approved custom's paperwork and they will finally hand the bumper off to you. A pain in the butt!

I've only noticed 2-3 rock chips after having it on for 1 month, I'll be going in next week for a full front clear bra, had to wait 30 days for the fresh paint to settle, otherwise I would have done it as soon as it was finished in paint.

I used the metal mesh that came with the bumper.

+1 on the numbers. I wonder how close I am to this? I'm doing about 9-10 gal of E85 topped with 93. Running G5-ISO + BMS Flash.

Also, I have an update on the bumper & duct situation. Finally started my build thread in case you guys want to follow. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...php?p=14287607

Awesome man thanks for the kind words! Your bumper turned out pristine so far! Bummer that it came with that slight crack.

Are you running the stock lpfp? Or have you done the walbro DIY?

Just did a good read of the thread. This stuff is amazing. The power you are putting on the wheels must feel amazing! Also really digging the overall look of the car.

I must also compliment your photography. Very nice lighting. Truly does justice to this awesome car.

Thank you for the kind words! It means a lot. I just recently upgraded my camera to the black magic 4k, these stills are all pulled from a video I was shooting, dusk lighting really brings out the richness of the deep blue.
