Tuning Question
So tomorrow I plan to upload the ECU tune so that I can send it off to BPC for modification.
I have the software loaded, cables ready, and everything else I can think of ready to go. I have a battery tender/charger as I've read the initial upload can take awhile some saying up to 30 minutes. I will also make sure the laptop is plugged in as well. So from my understanding, the car is supposed to be turned on in accessory mode, but not actually running. My question is when I turn on the accessories, how long will the car stay awake? I definitely don't want it going to sleep in the Middle of the writing process. I planned to roll the windows down, and maybe just leave the radio turned on hoping that will keep everything on until it's done and I eject the key fob. Any suggestions from you guys that have done this before? Will the car go to sleep after a predetermined time? Just wanting to play things safely. I know with my corvette, as long as I have the accessories function of the fob on, it doesn't go to sleep....plus with HP Tuners, it's a pretty fast process. I'm excited to get this done so I can get my modified tune back this coming week, and installing my 3 stage intake next weekend and loading in the new tune. Thanks for Any pointers!

So the backup went well. Looking forward to sending the file of Monday, and should have the new file next week.
Aside from BPC accounting for the 3SI, I wonder what else they include in this particular off the shelf tune? Possibly Red-line change, throttle response mapping, etc? I have brand new DISA valves from FCP and a clean intake, so I'm excited to see how it does. After that, I will be installing my headers next and a re-tune. Lastly will be a trip to BPC for the MILV installation, and a custom dyno-tune so that everything can be dialed in optimally!
