The Cepheus Leader just pulled out of Bremerhaven. It's scheduled to arrive in Port Hueneme on 4/26. For anyone else on the West coast who missed the Toreador, let's hope this our ship!

Fingers crossed you get on that one. I have a good feeling about it...and not just cause I found that boat. The only problem is you may not know til Monday morning due to lag and weekend like we had last week.

The ETA to Southampton is supposedly about an hour from now and the ship is slowing down considerably near the inlet passage to the port. Maybe she needs to wait for another ship to clear out. Dump some Bimmers on those Brits quickly and get back on your way, Cepheus Leader!

She's back out to sea. Next destination: Panama Canal on 4/13.

Now we just need to make sure you're on it! Wondering if you've already called your dealer. Just know that they usually won't have the name of the boat, but they'll have the arrival date into Port Hueneme, which makes things pretty easy to then do the math.

Errrrr, never mind. Just found out I'm still chillin' at the port. I might have made it aboard Bess this morning, though that seems unlikely. Also, two ships, Asian Vision and Torino, leave Bremerhaven on 4/6 for the West Coast. Bess makes a few more stops than the other two, so all 3 ships are scheduled to arrive in Port Hueneme on 5/1. There's no way my car should arrive later than that!

Cepheus Leader is back on the map, zipping between the British Virgin Islands and Anguilla at a heady 17 knot clip. She's supposed to approach the Panama Canal on Saturday morning (PST). Is anyone else aboard? Playing solo shuffleboard is getting old!

See, you don't want on our boat. It's like a bad frat house and if you fall asleep, people will draw crudely drawn penises on your forehead.

That's not so bad. Some guy on my boat is starting to talk to himself. What a weirdo!

Hmm, that seems totally normal...to me at least. Apparently you're on the boat of mutes or monks who have taken a vow of silence. Quiet boat you got there. Clearly we have the party boat. See beach photos as proof, at least the ones we could post.

It's a big boat - I didn't see you there. Any other castaways?

Cepheus Leader was anchored briefly outside the canal entrance, but she's currently headed into the first locks -- go, go, go!

Literally, as I was about to eat dinner, I checked to see where our boat was, which was still off radar, so I checked to see where your boat was, and it was showing as IN the last lock. And I happened to snag these pictures as I must have pulled it up 30 seconds before it set off.

Boy, look at all the stars out tonight in the Panama Canal!

Nice catch, Greg. Jeez, there are so many stars out that you can barely see the ship!

That was a pretty quick pass through the canal. The ship is already out of range. As I recall from my last order, we now enter the void where there's not much tracking data available until the ship closes in on San Diego. If everything goes to plan, Cepheus Leader should surface again next Tuesday.
