Nah, I get what your saying but IMO the term 1er doesn't necessarily carry a positive history.. you know what I mean? I understand that's what we literally call them on here but not everyone knows that so too us it's normal but to other there first thought might associate us with the wrong crowd.

What about "M Force One" and we all get army style paint jobs!? Matte base for majority of car with a little bit of metallic for the camo your choice of colors no need to stress about the cost in order to get it done as long as you guys buy the paint I can do it. One by One get it?🤦🏽*♂️ Lmao anyway we can even match the M on the windshield badge with whatever came style color you choose and everything else will be the usual white letters

Can you adopt an X1 into the group lol. I am just a big admirer of the 1 series, but I don't think I'll be switching anytime soon. X1 35i N55er, we've got the "1" in common lol. earlier in the pandemic I saw a group of 1ers with their burbles coming off the Rosecrans exit 405 south and it got me envious.

Solidsleeper, I'm personally not against it. I'm not a hater. You got a 1er and a BMW enthusiast, so why not? IDK what others think, I'd just like to meet and share with each others. But, if we ever had a meet you might just look like the redheaded step child. lol

Sorry, I kinda disappeared guys. I had final exams for grad school. On top of that, my car's rear window exploded and am waiting for the glass to come in.

Anyway, have you guys decided on a name. I only have it as a generic "BMW 1 Series Car Club of California". I know, it's pretty lame but I only have placeholders on everything on the page. If you're ever interested, here's the link...

I'll change anything you guys want me to change or add as you guys request for it.

As for incorporating other models like the X1 and stuff. I personally do not mind. I'm all for it. However, it is best to ask the leader (@330iRevamped) of the group for that one.

About the logo and the name, I would personally prefer something that has something to do with the 1 series + ideally California. Let's leave the choosing of such a thing to the general audience of this group.

I'm with PnB about having the name something to do with 1 series and Cali or California.

Also, just a couple of idea's: 1) to be able to identify Nor Cal from So Cal and 2) have a meet in mid Cal sometime?

That way a local meet won't take me at least 6 hr. to get there

Hahahaha I agree but we can get to that later. There can be 2 admins in the future. One for the SoCal group and another for the NorCal group. (Wanna take the NorCal admin spot, if ever?)

I'd rather not split the already small group.

SoCal people wanna do a meet and possibly a drive this Saturday or the next one? If I don't get enough people, I'll just have a mountain run on my own haha.

Okay, I'm not the leader of this group but now that my school is over. I can organize something (with some people's help).

SoCal people, state your location. Whichever area has the most members will be the area for a meet. (If more members are in OC, the meet/drive will be in OC.)

I'll also try to do something on the FB page. I havent touched it since I made it when I was bored during my 1st year of grad school.
