the three-liter twin turbo diesel engine wins !
The three-liter twin turbo diesel engine with 272 hp powering the BMW 535d took first place in the class from 2.5 to 3.0 liter cubic capacity, rendering it the only winning diesel engine in the competition. Second place was clinched by the new BMW 3-liter six-cylinder petrol engine used in almost all series and boasting either 258 or 265 hp, depending on the model.
