I think it did. I actually have the kit at home but I don't know what I did with the instructions. I seem to recall there being some.

Here is a thread with a few pictures --> http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1010620

I had it once. BMW replaces headlight under warranty. They made it sound like my car might have been in accident too but replaced it anyway. It wasn't. Just weak design and stiff suspension.

crazyazz maybe you can post another picture zoomed out a little bit so others can see what part of the headlight you are talking about.

iminhell1 Thanks for posting the BMW repair kit.

Did you fix this ? Did you need to sand down the broken bit attached to the casing to get the new bracket to sit right ?

Yes! Mine was broken when I picked up my 08, all you need is a dremel to smooth out the area to install the new post. It’s much stronger then the original!

My bracket was fortunately still there and I just used JB weld. Original owner so no accidents just 10 years old and almost 100k miles. If it breaks again I'll go this route.

a T20 one of these is pretty handy if you want to repair the particular bracket the OP posted about in-situ as there isn't much clearance
