There are ways to make just about any color on a car look good using wheels, pieces of trim, accent striping, etc. But I just can't see any way to make that M3 look 'good'.
That color reminds me of the old gold/brown Plymouth Dusters way back in the day. And I know some of those retro colors are making a comeback, but not on a German enthusiast's car. |

I have that exact same color combo. It looks gorgeous, you're gonna love it! Just be sure to maintain the hell out of the seats, as the red shows wear and sun-damage really quickly. I have to condition the shit out of mine in this arid climate to keep them looking fresh. |

Well, they all require a certain amount of care to prevent fading and checking. Seems that some of the more intensely coloured ones (Coral Red, Grey, Terracotta, Black) seem to show it a bit more, with the really light colours (Oyster, Taupe, Savannah) are a little less noticeable if they're starting to fade. Either way, the maintenance isn't hard. Just get some conditioning wipes with sun-protectant, and give the seats a wipe-down every now and then. Only takes a minute, and it will yield a lot more life out of your interior. |

I was searching for pics when I saw this thread. I'm sure you are long past the buying process but I have a marrakesh brown 135i with the coral red interior. I personally like the combo color, it seems to work. I'd be glad to post pics if anyone wants to see. Ryan Last edited by whostorm05; 01-31-2012 at 04:26 PM.. |

So, when the chocolate covered cherry car arrives (end of month at latest), I will post pics. Obviously I don't like to be like everyone else, so I think this car is going to be very cool. Hey, we are all individuals, and of course not everyone will like it. |

I went for Brown exterior with black interior. If I had a dime for every time someone stopped me in parking lot as I was getting into or out of my car to compliment me on the color, I'd have half the car paid off already. The wife just rolls her eyes every time it happens.

For me, the black interior with AW trim would not be something I would do. So, to each their own, and I hope you love your car |
