Vivid Racing - poor business practices

Let me say that if Vivid Racing makes good on this with me I will be the first one to add a post saying that the problem has been taken care of since I will give them the benefit of the doubt in case of mis-communication, etc.

I am shopping around for a Berk Race cat-back exhaust for my soon to be delivered 2013 135i Vert. and this past Sunday (Nov. 2) I saw that they had a Labor Day sale and were giving 10%, which was good through the 4th. I had a couple of questions so I emailed them several times over the next couple of days and did not hear back until the 4th but then they said the sale was not longer good and quoted me about $50 more for the exact same exhaust. I asked that they escalate the issue to a manager or someone who could help me put by honoring what the sale they had advertised but I have yet to hear back.

Again, I would appreciate if someone from Vivid contact me to clear this up. In the meantime be careful if ordering from them. By the way, if someone else can recommend another place to get the Berk exhaust I desire for the price they were going to sell it to me during the sale I'd like to hear about them.

9/14/2012: it appears that the problem was resolved and they honored the sale price (mis-communications) and I just ordered the exhaust from them. I will be sure to let everyone know when it arrives.

shouldn't have relied on email for time sensitive promotions. have you tried calling them instead of emailing?

Hindsight is 20/20; however, they should have honored what they advertised. I asked them to escalate my concerns to a manager but never heard back from them so my business is going elsewhere, on the exhaust and other parts I am interested in.
