Turbo cooling line. O-rings or replace?
I have a coolant leak I finally tracked down to the rear turbo coolant line where it attaches to the rear of the block.
With the help of a coolant dye kit, and a UV flashlight, I can see a ring around the rear fitting where the very slow leak is coming from. So, it is not leaking from anywhere else. Do I yank the line and just replace the two o-rings, or pay $75 to replace the entire line? I have the ability to do both but one costs $2 and the rigid line seems to be just fine. I wanted a few other opinions before I dive in. It's an easy fix but in a PITA location. I only want to do it once. |

Whatever path you take make sure to ream out the hole with a pipe cleaner or similar to make sure there is no decayed rubber oring material or other crud in there.
Use rubber grease generously to help it in. If you go in dry it will tear the seal |

I went ahead and grabbed both. I needed a 417 piece O ring kit anyways.
Once this is done I'm going to start aiming at modifying so I'd rather just have the peace of mind. |

Any DIY info on how to do? I have the parts coming in and don't want to make it worse while swapping the lines out
