Help me pick an exhaust!

Need some recommendations. I've a stock 135 DCT and need something that sounds a bit more aggressive BUT not obnoxious (mid 40s..). I'm in CA so looking for the back section only and will avoid tunes and other emission unfriendly stuff because it's a headache. Importantly, I commute 3x a week and it's a 80mph 45min highway drive...so no drone ideally.

The PE seems like it's not available anymore.

Appreciate any ideas.

Nope...128i here, so not much help to you there.
It wouldn't be the same system, but I imagine the results would be similar. I'm using a Magnaflow cat-back on mine (about 2 years now), and I like it. The sound is deep, but not loud. There is no rasp, and little to no drone, with lots of (quiet) little pops and burbles when you get off the gas. It is polished stainless, lighter than the stock system, and the tips fill the bumper cut-out much better than stock. Install was easy, and the price was not absurd.
If I had to label the sound (and I think I have in other threads), I would say it sounds 'mature'.

Was it a direct bolt on?

That depends on how you look at it...It bolted directly on, yes (but only after cutting the stock system just aft of the secondary cats). After that, it's just slip fit with heavy band clamps, and uses stock mounting points/rubbers. I did it on jack stands in my driveway.
