Right side mirror glass replacement

Hey guys,
Has anyone tried replacing their external mirrors glass with the one below.
I have replaced my left side with a genuine mirror glass that included a backing plate. The one below dose not include the plate but has the adhesive.

I don't know if anyone has applied these, but it does say to reuse your old backing plate. The only thing that could go wrong would be shoddy adhesive - which could easily be supplemented or replaced with something proven. Go for it!

The mirror glass they sent me was the right size but it was not tinted as blue as the factory mirror. The tint was really light and could only be seen when held up to a regular mirror. I am trying to get a refund from the seller but he hasn't responded in days. I bought the mirror below a few days ago, i'm waiting for it to be delivered.
