FS: 135i Performance Exhaust (Muffler + Y-Pipe)
For sale: Performance Exhaust used for about 62,000 miles. To retain the stock stealthy look, the piping at the muffler tips - which are shiny chrome and stick out too much (by 2 more inches) - were cut and replaced with the corresponding piping of the stock black tips. This work involved welding and was done by a professional exhaust shop. The Performance Exhaust looks better with this modification IMO. The black finish of the exhaust tips have degraded over the years but are replaceable - part #18307559999 (link). One of the two nuts that are bonded to the Y-pipe’s collar flange was eliminated because of stripped threads. The shop supplied a new nut and matching bolt which are included. The new nut is a regular nut that is detachable and works with zero issues. Donut gasket included. Clamps are not included - they were the old version and pretty seized. BMW updated them since - part #18307560779 (link). If you’ve never heard this exhaust in person, get ready to grin ear to ear! Asking $600 plus shipping. Local pickup preferred. Shipping is a lot higher than expected, so I’ve reduced the price.
For example, it’s $375 to Southern California (San Diego) and $457 to the other coast (Boston). EDIT 1/10/23: Quotes provided by FedEx and UPS have dropped since this was first posted. Cheapest is now $313 to Southern California (San Diego) and $389 to the other coast (Boston). Last edited by Bullitt; 01-10-2023 at 05:49 AM.. Reason: Updated shipping costs - quotes have dropped for some reason :) |

Is this compatibility with the N55 e82’s. I’m assuming so but how does the y pipe bolt up to the downpipe.
Edit: did some research seems like you have to slip it on + clamp. Where are you located? Last edited by beeeemernoob; 01-10-2023 at 03:53 PM.. |
