New Owner Here!

I've been on quite the journey for the right 1(M) and well... it finally happened. Rented a truck, trailer, and made the trip to pick up my dream car! Was between the M2C or 1M. After my first spirited drive in the 1M after driving an M2C, the smiles said it all. My 128i now has the company of the older sibling.

Great car with a great story. Can't put in words the feeling.

Damn, Laguna Seca blue looks so good, even if it’s just in tape. Have you considered taping the back instead of removing it from the front?

Kidding aside, you chose wisely, welcome!

Congratulations. Great looking car. Care to share some of the specifications/options? Any plans with the car? Enjoy the ride!

The deck lid was taped as well! At that point I should've. Painters tape "wrap" for a couple bucks. Laguna Seca is a favorite color as well.

Thank you!

Just over 12k miles, one owner, ~loaded (no heated seats/BMW Apps), bone stock. It was a Euro Delivery.

It will stay as is. Potentially an n55 midpipe. Was thinking about an alternate charge pipe for obvious reasons, but might buy an extra stock pipe and keep OEM. Intend to redo the PPF as well.

*Update*

Mechanically: I had the n55 mid pipe installed. Honestly, not as much of a difference as I was expecting sound-wise, based on what I read. I also had the rear differential seal replaced since it was leaking slightly.

Cosmetically: I had the partial front PPF removed and a full front PPF installed with some added pieces, along with a detailing and ceramic coating!

All that is left is some new tires and sunglasses!

Was thinking of the N55 midpipe myself but keep holding off after hearing comments like yours. Would you say it was worth it or would you go more aggressive like maddad? Any change in power/feel?

Thanks
