Any other e88 guys have this problem?

Roof open and closes fine. Everything works as it should. But this little corner is popped out and i cant get it back for the life of me.
If i open it, when i close it, it comes out like 10 inches. I can get most of it back into the slide but not the last couple inches. Even when trying in service position. Even when trying with a heat gun. Scrubbed it with boiling water trying to stretch it a little. Nothing worked.
Went to a convertible top shop. The guy looked at it for 2 seconds and said " it shrunk, need a new top. 2 grand, but thats probably more than your car is worth" and walked away. PRICK!!! i dont believe this problem is that extreme.
Ive read most all the vert problem threads and i cant find a similar issue

Do you think you are able to use some type of adhesive to adhere back on?

Wow, that Convertible Top repair guy was a real jerk.
Thankful that I don't have any issues so far.

Its a tab and plastic piece that slides through a groove and i just cant get it to stay in the groove. Im sure there are clips that hold it in but i could not find them anywhere on realoem. I tried upholstery clips but they are too big. Ill keep looking though
