Thanks! I didn't have a chance to weigh them but they're pretty average weight from what I could feel. Three piece stuff very rarely weighs significantly less unless they're magnesium from my experience.

I got a little greedy with lip size and definitely went a smidge more aggressive with the specs than I "should" have in the rear. Wouldn't have been a problem with OEM metal fenders but it is for fiberglass. So it's going to get some adjusting on the alignment rack. Should just need another degree of camber to get the top of the tire off the inside of the fender. With how the 1M quarters are designed, it makes having a wider taller tire hard to fit with this aggressive of specs. I'm probably also going to do the hub conversion

What is the new vinyl color? Have you already said and I missed that?

I haven't mentioned. Keeping this one a little more hush hush. Not going to wait for the interior overhaul to be done before showing the exterior color though. New front and rear seats, door panels and some trim getting a color change

Here's a pic of the new panels that I just got in. These are going to have the tan sections cut out and redone in a new color

First misfire! 203,800 miles, BTW. One coil has completely died, with no warning other than a brief stutter yesterday, and now I have an Audi

Checked the plug gap today, and the plug in cylinder 6 had a gap of 1.6mm, which is shockingly large. Should be just a hair over 1mm. New coils and plugs on the way.

Dropped the little lady off at Speed Logic for my Pure Stage 2 install, along with a stage 2 lpfp.

Don't plan on driving with e85 often, but it's nice to know I should have 420ish whp available when I want it. Hoping to make about 370whp on 91 while still making good power over 5k rpm, not rapidly losing power like these do stock, we'll see (dyno'd somewhere near 320whp/400wtq fbo stage 2+ MHD on stock turbo). This will be my last big power mod, one I've waited to do for over a year.

Was gonna say, +10-15 more "safe" on the 1M body and those widths, but still not standard which seems to be +22 to +27 or even +30 out back. I'm adding a 5mm spacer to my 9?5+22 wheels up front. Should flush it out nicely.

Not happy to hear you're having issues with the zero offset though, that would have been nice!

All part of the game! It's pretty close to where I want it now. If I needed to do a lot more camber I would have figured out something else. That's not my thing, even if bagged on the ground is lol

Ordered an oil distribution block and a VDO oil pressure gauge. Hopefully they'll be here before the weekend so I can have get them in for the open track day at VIR on Sunday. I want to figure out if I'm having any oil starvation before I go and hack stuff up to install the Accusump I've had laying around for a couple months, or if I'll go through the effort of having baffles put in a stock oil pan.

I've been eyeing that up so much. It even has a dipstick tube! But, $2k for a dipstick tube and baffling which I can probably easily weld into my stock pan is a bit crazy...

Good spring wash and wax and today I tackle the interior.

Decided to cut my cowl up today. With just the bms filters in, water is getting in my 6th cylinder plug well. Found a whole bunch of grey ash inside . Going to use the gutters and caps from old cowl. And maybe some weather stripping to channel the water to the gutters. Then I cut my engine cover to make room for the PR coils. So I decided to paint it. I have rattle cans of my body color(sgm)around. Doesn't look much different in pics. But real sparkly.

Looks nice!

Did you have the engine cover on during the time you found water in the #6?

Side note: I need to figure out somehow if the driver side PR coils/mount will fit with my new intake system. Want to get them off the top of the plugs, massive PITA to move that rail off each time I want to change gap or plugs entirely.

Thats why I switched. I originally bought passenger side, and then thought about access to plugs and vacuum hoses and such. Sold them to my friend and bought the driver side.
Yes I always have my engine cover on. But still got through the Delphi coil seal I to #6

We seem to be thinking along the same lines a lot. I've been considering a baffled oil pan or at least an Accusump since my original motor ate a bearing last year. But I decided to see what my oil pressure is looking like first so I have a distribution block and an AEM gauge ready to go in next oil change.

Nice! I got a Moroso accumulator (same concept) not a true Accusump. It's the bigger one, and it's going to be a pain to install if I do end up needing it. I'll probably install it under the N54 intake manifold I'll be doing later this summer, or maybe up in the passenger footwell (I'll have to check regulations) so I can keep the manual valve

Can anyone point me in the right direction for 1M side mirrors...
I know ECS has some for 600 each...
And then the dealer for an "expensiver amount"...
But does anyone know of another site...
I've checked but was thinking that maybe someone here had some helpful info...

Or

Should I get 1M caps and call it a day lol...
