Extended HPFP warranty for 2010s
Got my letter today stating that the HPFP warranty is extended to 10 years, 120k miles. Any other 2010'ers get the letter yet?

Hellz yeah it is. Every day I'm pumped to step into it. Despite the HPFP, just glad to have 10 years of warranty on it now! Well, heheh more like 5 years at my rate. I do intend to hold onto this car for a good 7-10 years, we'll see how that goes!

Does it matter if you get the letter? I presume that you are covered regardless if they are basing the warranty extension on the official build date.
Not to say that it wouldn't be reassuring to get the letter anyways. Just curious. Is there anyway to confirm the warranty extension independently on-line with a VIN number or something like that. Martin |

No letter for me either, I am a 2010 135i Coupe built in 9/09.
One pump failure at 6900 miles. Can anyone confirm whether there have been any documented HPFP failures with the N55 engine? |
