best Anthracite wheel color with VO?

Hey all, I trust your opinions....looking for a good paint code and samples for Anthracite paint for my wheels....I was black matte for 2 years and now want to do Anthracite but don't have any good paint codes to give to the shop....

Any suggestions as to the best looking Anthracite for a VO 1M?

thanks in advance.

19" BBS CH-R Satin Titanium (front: 19x9 ET 20 | rear: 19x10.5 ET 25): I got these because - as we know - our 359 M Y-spoke Competition wheels are only available in silver (1M) and black (E92 M3 GTS). Too bad BMW never offered these wheels in gunmetal too. To my eyes, the BBS CH-R gunmetal wheels are (still) the best alternative to the unbeatable 1M stock wheels: elegant and sportive + suits well the VO color.

Last Summer @Rikx1M has seen these in the flesh on my 1M.

My wheels are not Anthracite, but more like a Metalic Gun Metal Grey..
About 2 shades lighter than the OEM diffuser.

Colour code is GLASURIT HIGH-SOLID 2K-NFZ DECKLACK SERIE 18 B, 900 Schwarz.

1 x coat primer plus 3 x coat two pack enamel.

Don't know anything better than these below, owner is a forum member from Czech Republic, you should check his build thread (search: Pfeffer bmw 1m build) with fantastic photos of his great 1M project.

I've been considering getting my wheels painted black on my BSM 1M.. that dark graphite looks great, may be a better option!

I have heard horror stories of wheels eventually cracking after undergoing powder-coating due to the heating process to cure the finish?

I would consider such stories to originate from pre-existing conditions and/or gross negligence by your coating supplier: if the powder coat heating temperature does not exceed ~200 Celsius for ~10 minutes (do check with your supplier), it will not affect aluminum alloy molecular structure, which needs higher temperatures and longer exposure to recrystallize.
