Interest level for a functional diffuser for 135i

OK, so, in my quest to find a functional diffuser, I stumbed across this one on the S2000 forums.

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/sponsor-...ffuser-903746/

Guy sells them on ebay as well: https://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-S2000...53.m1438.l2649

If there was enough interest in a group buy here, I am wondering if he would consider specing to a 135. I am willing to be the test car unless someone is in Reno who can.

Anyway, if you would consider buying this for ~$300 for your track car, please say so in the replies. If we get enough interest I am going to point him to this thread. Thx.

If not, I may just get one and figure out the "conversion kit" of bolts/nuts/brackets to lineup to the S2000-specific holes in that thing to see if I can make it work...

Honestly looks pretty basic and something you should be able to DIY.
Metal from hardware story, a rivet gun, couple clamps and 2x4s to bend, and some delrin rod for spacers.

Not cheap by any means but,

Might be another option or at least a pattern to work from.

It doesn't look "easy" to me. Every time I have said something like this about something someone has crafted, I ultimately end up looking like Jeremy Clarkson after saying "How hard can it be"...

Plus it seems kinda crappy to me to try and steal the mans design.

Thx for posting this. It does look very cool...but too much (and probably too much cost) for what I want to do right now.

FYI: He says he needs 20 in the group buy to make doing the redesign worth it. Not sure if we can get there with the population I normally see on here but I am willing to give it the college try! Will also need to see if anyone is local to Reno that can be the test car...

Bump to see if there is any interest besides me and berns.

At this rate I think I may have to just try adapting it myself...

Hmmm...comparing pics of the rears, you may have to have a non stock exhaust for this to work given how far the factory muffler sticks down....
