DME Active Codes 29E2, 2CFB & 2D09

Hey Guys,

Hope you're doing well!!

I removed the N54 in the 2008 135i I bought last November. Replaced all gaskets/seals and replaced them along with the valve cover and PCV valve.

Also added stage 2 turbos along with inlets & outlets.

The engine is back in along with an upgraded intercooler.

I was first getting some communication errors with the DME. Replaced the fuse and cleaned the DME terminals (some moisture had gotten on them, gently cleaned with contact cleaner). This worked!!! Thank goodness I've spent enough $$$ lol.

I can now communicate with the DME and have flashed my custom tune from Wedge Performance using MHD.

I am getting these codes, and the engine won't crank or start at all.

- DME active codes -
29E2 - DME: Fuel injector rail, pressure-sensor signal.
2CFB - DME: Throttle-valve adaptation value.
2D09 - DME: THROTTLE

I had the whole intake side ripped apart and checked/cleaned all connections.

Of course there is no pressure in the fuel rail, everything was ripped apart. Is there a way to build this pressure up to get rid of the code so the car will start?

I am new to BMWs and really looking forward to getting this monster back on the streets!!

Any insight/help/experience you're willing to share is greatly appreciated!!

Cheers

Garrett

Are you using INPA/ISTA-D? It sounds like you definitely aren't getting fuel, but I would start by resetting adaptations and checking all your fuses.
