Driveshaft Moving When Removing Driveshaft Nut for LSD Install

I searched the forums and haven’t found a definitive answer.

I’m trying to swap a Wavetrac LSD in my 135i, and the drive shaft is rotating when rotating the nut. The car is in gear and the e brake is off (doesn’t really matter since the axles are off).

Has anybody else encountered this issue and found a solution?

If you're turning the engine over, you might be able to lock it in place using a long lever on the crankshaft bolt. Might want to try putting it in 6th, if you've currently got it in 1st.
