Sport mode button

Has anyone replaced their "Sport" mode button? Mine is working but the Sport text has worn off, got a replacement but can't figure how to get it detached without breaking the gear shift bezel!?

Pry the surrounding trim bezel up with a plastic trim tool, the whole thing will simply pop up and out. You can then reach the back of the button. If you want to fully remove the assembly for better access to the button, also unplug the shifter and pull straight up and out to remove
