Complete coral red interior set. Condition 9/10 only minor wear, heated sport seats. If you’ve been waiting to find a red interior in amazing condition this might be what you are looking for. Local pick up in LA only. Feel free to send a pm with any questions, I’m willing to entertain any offer but I am fairly firm at 1500 considering its a complete set, the rarity of red interior, etc. let me know if you need carpets I’m happy to throw them in for the asking price. Only a few broken plastic clips, it doesn't get much better than that.

Haha, only got space for one car in my garage (next to my wife's car) and it's occupied. No plans to change, but damn that shit is pretty. Someone with a 1er needs to buy it.

Had Coral Red in my first 135i, which is why I have a soft spot for it.

What year car is it out of?
Just trying to figure out if the seats are full-leather or only the seating surfaces. I believe they changed to vinyl sides around the LCI. My best guess from the photos is leather seating surfaces only. Sides in vinyl.

Never heard that before. Can you provide a link that verifies that?

I know some of the 1ers were optioned with leatherette/sensatec, but the others had full Boston leather, AFAIK.

BTW, here's BMW's announcement of the 2012 BMW 1-series LCI (facelift). It doesn't say anything about the Boston leather going to vinyl sides.

Even BMW doesn't always own up to it today. I had an argument about it recently with one of our BMW NA training managers and product specialists. It's easy to tell. I won the argument on on a new car in the showroom.

Just feel it! My wife's '08 128 Sport has all leather seats including the side panels where the plastic "hinge cover" is. My '13 Msport is leather on seating surfaces, only. I believe yours to be like the latter judging from the "crease" visible in the side panel of your driver's seat back. Poke it and leather "wrinkles". Vinyl just stretches.

Don't expect a BMW press release to tell you in what way they cheapened a new version. I don't even remember BMW telling us the 2020 X3 would not have a CD player.

Anybody else heard of this? I could see it on a new car, but the 1 series? If it's true, he can't be the only one who knows. Someone else has to have heard of this as well.

Also, CD players became old fashioned. My new laptop doesn't have one and my old laptop did. I don't believe new cars have them anymore, so that's common practice.

PS - learnedonmiata, what year 1er did this come out of?
