Black line tail light led bars won't turn on 09 135i

I recently installed these tails lights on my 135i and the 2 led strips won’t turn on only the brake lights work. would anybody have any idea why?

Did you plug them in? Unless you bought the “Low” version without the second plug to light up the bars.

This is likely correct. There’s a version of the lci style lights that are meant for halogen models, and some meant for the xenon models. The LED strips won’t light up if you bought the version meant for halogen. Otherwise it may be a faulty unit if everything is plugged in correctly.

Make sure you are plugged in the right direction.....I believe it is possible to insert the plug upside down
