The only FP this weekend has gone, MAX was 5th but I think he's saving for the SQ later on. MAX seems stronger in the medium speed corners so I think he's was saving for that.

Just received an email from F1 to say I can no longer renew my F1 Premium account (my current subscription is up in March of 2026). Looks like a deal was just signed for five years with Apple TV where Apple now has exclusive access to F1 races in the US for the next five years. I guess this means I now need to buy more Apple shit such as their Apple TV box/controller and probably pay more money than I am now. I basically watch no TV outside of F1 races, this is infurating.

NOTHING ever gets better. Absolutely NOTHING.

You should be able to use whatever you're using to watch F1TV. There's an Apple tv+ app you just download. It's currently 12.99/mo. I have F1TV pro which is 9.99/mo. So small increase in fee, but it upgrades me to F1TV Premium.

I'm not thrilled with the switch, but it might end up not being a big deal at the end of the day.

I received the same message. It said that I'd still be able to purchase F1® TV Access, which means I can still watch the races but not live. That works for me since I rarely watch them live anyway. No way I'll buy another subscription for Apple TV, that's for sure.

well the benefit at least is if you had F1TV Pro currently, you are UNABLE to stream in 4K/HD unless you use an APPLE TV lmao.

So F1 TV Pro was giga scam for that out side of the extras you get access too.

I have premium though which includes 4K. It’s beautiful to watch.

Thanks for the insight all, maybe not as bad as originally feared. I thought I had to buy a separate box or whatever. Seems I can still use Amazon firestick and just download the app. I still hate giving any more money to Apple.
