WARNING! For everyone with park distance control!
When you drive your other vehicle don't forget it won't start beeping as you're backing up. I drove my older car today (to pick up a new house window from Home Depot) and backed into a pole!
Yea, I wasn't backing up fast enough to cause much damage but I sure felt like a dummy.

YEP...you really don't want to drive anything else after you have gotten used to your 1.
I had to drive my wifes 1995 Acura Integra yestersday. Bad Idea. That car has REVERSE right where I'm now used to having SIXTH gear..........ouch.......I tried to shift into sixth twice and got nothing but GGGRRRRROOOOCCCHHHH sounds. That Acura just doesn't seem to want to shift into reverse at 50 mph :eyebulge:

With a vert you need PDC. The blind spot at the C pillar is huge and although the rear windshield is decent it's still not anywhere near as big as in the coupe.

I opted against PDC because my friend had the same issue...he was in a rental and backed it into another car...doh
...there is a good system out there that forces you to look at lights through your rear view mirror to determine distance. They are mounted at the top of the rear window...no audio at all. So that way, if you are in a different car you have a reminder that you'll need to be careful... ...the other system is made by ... cough ... GM ... cough

No...never
At least it wasn't her Cayman (but then that's got the Chickmatic transmission in it)

PDC is no substitute for watching your rear view mirror. It assists you in tight spots when parallel parking. Just like the airbag is no substitute for seat belt.
It's useful in the city and if you have young kids or pets running around outside.
