My friend test driving with me told me it was just burn-in and all cars do that. But it was the only one I test drove that did. And it had a lot more miles on it than some of the others I tested.

I had an '05 (brand new..no miles) and never experienced that. It drove very nice, but SO boring. After only driving it for a year, I gave it to my little brother when he hit 16 and got the Cooper S.
