Do it, you wont regret it. Transforms the auto to something akin to what it should have been from factory.

ST stage3 flash.

D is still shit. No one can do D shifts like OEM. I don't reckon that M shifts are as good as Alpina tbh. But. I have heard that they are better for the car as they drill down into more parameters than the Alpina.

Everything comes at a cost.

I was keen to get this but I am now worried that my transmission is f@cked.

Twice now Over the past week I have turned onto an expressway and floored it only for the rpms to rise but no real acceleration until about 5000rpm.

Bmw classes this transmission as lifetime fill and never has to be changed which is the biggest load of bs

Get that changed asap

xHP isn't cheap, but it's one of the best mods I've done.

I've always used the manual shift paddles because I hated letting the gearbox do its thing, but "S" mode in the xHP Stage 3 v1.4 is amazing. Truely amazing, I've never seen an auto-trans that comes close. It's always in the right gear for spirited driving, rev-matches on downshift perfectly and shifts way faster than I could throw a stick.

My trans is getting worse. Hesitation when taking off from stop lights and uneven power output, especially when cold. Booked it in for a fluid and filter, hopefully it sorts it out. Really want to get a xhp flash on there but would be a likely toast trans if I did now.

Reset the trans adaptations after the fluid change and drive around slowly for the first 50km to let it adapt to the new fluid

Then flash the trans with xhp and let it adapt for 50 km again

If anything helps this procedure will otherwise you might be up for a new box
