BC Computer controls (turn signal access)

Hey everyone, so I found threads showing how to change the sensitivity of the auto headlights (couldn't find it on my 2008 model though). But haven't found anywhere people talking about the other symbols of somethings you can do. Like I changed it so my turn signal blinks 3x instead of 1x when tapping it. I also think I made it so when I unlock my car the parking lights stay on for 90s instead of 30s (gotta show off those LUX angel eyes). But here are some pictures of other things. I don't know what they do. The door one I'm guessing is if you want the gong to go off for all doors or just driver door. And the two the look similar with the low beam symbol are actually two separate options (as you can see from he scroller on the right side of the display) in the menu. Thanks everyone!!

You've probably already played with the settings to figure them out, but I think the four pics are:

- lights flash on unlock
- lights flash on lock
- key fob unlock just driver door or all doors on single press
- Doors automatically lock when moving


For the automatic headlight setting, you may need to check your KOMBI coding and enable it.

Hmmm that's interesting?
Any idea where the auto headlight adjustability is? I looked everywhere. Read the forum on it that guy did. Nothing. Was it only on certain years?

Yup that's to turn on and off DRLs. No idea why anyone would want them off lol.

Literally changed every setting in this BC section except having the DRLs off haha

I will start with saying I am a bit OCD. I think the car looks cleaner during the bright day with no lights on. I turn them on at dusk and full lights when dark. I have done it with all my cars.

The sensitivity adjustment DIY thing? That was me

The setting isn't active in the BC Menu sometimes, especially on earlier models from what I've read. There is a list of five items you want to look at in KOMBI which need to be set to activ for the adjustment to be seen in the BC Menu. They're listed in that same DIY.

Ahhh. What's KOMBI? I guess I'll have to go to that thread again! So I can do it? I just need to activate it?

You can do it, but it's going to require learning a bit about coding, getting the software, purchasing a cable etc. You may prefer to just get together with somebody local to you that can code- there are lots of folks in SoFLA that could hook you up for the cost of a beer.
